Coronavirus Measures in Ibiza June
COVID-19 measures in Ibiza and the Balearic Islands are no longer in place. The state of emergency is no longer in effect, but many communities and locations in Spain will continue to implement certain measures to prevent an increase in cases and overcrowding in hospitals and intensive care units.
What will remain in place is the closure of hospitality establishments at 11:00 p.m. and the curfew at the same time.
At the airport or port, you must show negative results from a PCR test no older than 72 hours. These can be obtained at some airports, such as Adolfo Suárez Airport in Madrid, in pharmacies or some dentists, as well as in hospitals.
This PCR test will likely also be required upon arrival at the hotel.
You must continue to wear masks and maintain social distancing, especially indoors. You can go swimming in the sea or pool without a mask.
It’s a good idea to stay tuned for the latest news, as we’re awaiting a COVID card or passport in Europe, which will indicate if you’re vaccinated, as well as the results and date of the latest PCR tests performed.
A quiet summer is expected with more than 40% of the population vaccinated, but we must continue to be responsible until we see how events unfold.
